Cerveza Triple Exultation

Style: Old Ale/Strong Ale
Original Gravity: 24.5 P
Alcohol: 9.7% by volume
IBUs: 80
Color: Dark Amber
Traditionally, Old Ales are an English style of dark, rich and sweet ale, typically with flavors of soft currant fruit and blackstrap molasses. While Old Ales typically have IBUs (bitterness) of 30-65, Eel River Brewing put their own spin on the style by adding extra hops to ramp up the IBUs to 80!
Food Pairing:
The big, intense flavor of the Triple Exultation is well-matched with similar dishes such as roast beef, lamb or game, grilled or roasted. Cheese pairings for the Triple Exultation include double Gloucester or other rich, moderately aged cheese. For dessert try this beer with a spiced plum-walnut tart, classic canolli or toffee apple crisp.
Try this beer with one a big, hearty steak from Eel River Brewing Company's Taproom and Grill in Fortuna, CA! We have steak specials almost every night ranging from surf and turf to prime rib to filet mignon to lamb chops. For dessert, pair it with our New York cheesecake.
