Tissø – The royal residence on Lake of the Gods
Dinamarca, isla de Zelandia. Los arqueólogos han encontrado una residencia real que fue erigida a mediados del siglo VI (era pre-vikinga) y que estuvo en uso, tras algunos cambios, hasta 1050.
Denmark, Island of Zealand. Archaeologists have found a royal residence that was erected in the mid-sixth century (pre-viking age) and was in use, after some changes, until 1050.
In that place there was a great hall, a temple, a gathering place and areas for workshops of artisans and market.

At the Visitor Center Fugledegård has just opened a new exhibition 'Royal seat and Cult place - Vikings at Tissø' that visualizes the archaeological remains and the functions of the large royal residential complex.
