Krauka - Óðinn

Krauka's first video from the new cd "Óðinn".

Filmed in Iceland in the Lava near Reykjavik and at another place also close to Reykjavik where a good friend of ours lives, his name is also Óðinn and he has been a part of creating the beatiful Sculpture of Thor and his wagon in the video.

Achillea: The Nine Worlds

Jens Gad, que fue la mitad del grupo Enigma -junto a Michael Cretu-, ha desarrollado otra agrupación de características similares, Achillea, con la que ha publicado varios álbumes. Pero para los intereses de este blog, cabe resaltar The Nine Worlds, dedicado a la mitología nórdica.

Dentro de los parámetros del chill-out y el downtempo, y con la guitarra del Jens en primer plano y la electrónica de fondo, cuenta con el impagable aporte de la cantante Helene Horlyck, cuya voz nos introduce en un mundo mágico y antiguo donde los elfos, las runas o los mismísimos dioses se entrecruzan con historias más mundanas del mundo vikingo, como la llegada a Lindisfarne o a las tierras del este. Y, por si fuera poco, las letras están escritas en sueco antiguo.
